Passionate about pursuing a career as a Cardiologist Dr.Sree made every effort consistently to continue the research and Clinical training. She earned her Masters, Doctorate of Medicine [MD] in cardiology in the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom (UK).
Her Specialist Interventional Cardiology training at Northern General Hospitals, Sheffield – UK, contributed an extensive skill in all aspects of interventional cardiology, technical performance of simple and complex interventional procedures, post-procedural management and imaging cardiology especially non invasive evaluation of coronary artery disease. Dr.Sree had one of its kind opportunities of looking after Pre & Post heart transplant patients and subsequent Tele-monitoring of transplanted patients.
Dr.Sree returned to India in 2010 and at Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Centre, Vellore – Established and headed the Department of Cardiology for about 5 years. With 18 years of practice in cardiology she has a firm approach to provide highest quality of care to every patient, a task that can only be accomplished by an honest relationship between the doctor and the patient.
She is a Lead Instructor – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support course, certified by the American College of Cardiology & American Heart Association and she educates ACLS to medical and Para-medical students in all SAARC countries.
